Education
- B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Sunderland, England. (1987-90)
- M.Sc. Manufacturing Systems Engineering in University of Warwick, Coventry, England. (1991-92)
Experience
Thirteen years hands-on experience ~ in engineering, management and consultancy. He has undergone manufacturing systems related training in the Japan, U.K, Switzerland and Finland, plus formal training in Toyota Production System under Asahi Glass Co., in Aichi, Nagoya Japan.
Work experience covers production, industrial engineering, manufacturing systems, plant maintenance, engineering project and quality assurance in MCIS Safety Glass Sdn Bhd (Asahi Glass Co. Ltd subsidiary company).

Azmi A. Bakar
Azmi A. Bakar has more than 16 years hands on experience in Human Resource and training. He obtained his Diploma in Public Administration from UiTM, Shah Alam and then pursue for Master in Human Resource Management from St. Clement University, U.K. He had held various senior management position in giant multi-national manufacturing companies such as Taiko Electronics, Sharp Manufacturing, GP Batteries, Schick- Warner Lambert, Flextronics Industries Malaysia and Mieco Chipboard Berhad.
Currently he is a Managing Consultant to Knowledge Management Consultant and Associate Trainer to SMART CONSULTANT, MARSLIO Training & Development Sdn Bhd, and TIMES Management Training Sdn Bhd.
Azmi has extensively involve in training for the past 8 years associating with other Training providers such as FMM Institute of Manufacturing, Bob Proctors, Anugerah HRM, Delmarco, ANK Consultant, Times Management where he had conducted many public and in-house programs with companies such as BERNAMA, Produa, UMW Toyota, Unilever, Mitsumi Electric, BASF Petronas, Proton, Sabah Electric, MTBE Petronas, Lucas automotive, Sime Tyres International, Summi Rubber, Sarawak Hydro, Faber, Maybank Venture, Mechma boiler, Sharp manufacturing, Wearnes Electronics, SMK Electronics, Kenwood, Tryotech, Pasir Gudang Edible Oil, Grandbank Yatch, Time Telecom, INTAN, KEMENTERIAN KEWANGAN, MMI industries, H&R Johnson, Yamaha Electronics, GP Doors, Malaysian Galvanized, KOMAG, Bridgestone, Bank Industri, Sebubu Berhad Sarawak, KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN BRUNEI (KEMENTAH),Gula Perak and etc, which include clerical development, teambuilding, Supervisory skills, managing change, positive working attitude and self motivation, train a facilitator, amongst others.
Azmi was also a member of Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM ).
